My name is Catherine, but I go by Cait, and I’ve been doing this a long time. I tell the story often, about how I came to be an Astrologer. It’s not exactly taught in school, and not many people aspire to become a Professional Astrologer. I didn’t either. I wanted to be a Supreme Court Justice. As we can all see, I don’t sit on SCOTUS, and I am indeed an Astrologer. Obviously, somewhere along the line my life took a surprising turn.
I began as a jaded critic of Astrology. My mother once told me not to get my hair cut on a full Moon because if cut badly, it would grow back slowly. Being a willful 14 year old Aries, I thought she was crazy and did it anyway. It was a bad cut, and it grew back so slowly I wanted to stay in my room until it grew out. Not only because it was such a bad haircut, but because my mother had way too much fun telling me “I told you so”.
I set out to prove that she was wrong. It hadn’t been the full Moon, but just a bad haircut. It could happen to anyone. But, in order to prove her wrong, I had to do research. I had to study Astrology to discover all of its flaws. I had to know more about it than she did. But, once I got into it, I wanted to know everything about it. I mean everything!
The beginning was a long time ago, decades in fact, but I’ve never found the fatal flaw in Astrology. I’ve never been able to make my mother wrong either, and because of that, I never get my hair cut on a full Moon.
I do this work because I love it. It fascinates me as much today as it did when a 14 year old Aries began her quest to prove it was all BS. There is an elegance to Astrology, a beauty. I strive to illuminate that elegance for all my clients, and to answer their questions honestly.
So, please make yourself at home. Enjoy the site!
