It seems so. What began as a 3 part Mars Series, had ballooned into, well, a lot of information.
It began innocently enough. Mars in the signs, Mars dignified and in detriment. It’s easy for an astrologer to explain these elements. They’ve been basically the same since the art of astrology began.
While looking at the chart for the election in 2020, I came across an anomaly. Both Mercury and Mars will be retrograde at the same time on election day. Actually, even with early voting they will be retrograde, but I was basically only looking at election day. It got me thinking. I wonder what happened the last time this occurred?
Well, after days and days of research, I found that it had never happened on an election day [or days] in the USA. So, no info to be gathered there, except, it’s rare for our elections. Given what we already know about the 2020 election it’s not much of a surprise that it is going to be different from any other election, but, I wondered what had occurred when Mars was Retrograde in Aries [as it will be on election day] historically. I’m a crazy Astrologer and I need data for crying out loud!!
So far, I have researched back to 1100, and found some interesting data. Mars goes retrograde in Aries approximately 3-4 times a century. That’s right–A CENTURY. So, not only is it rare to have it occur on an election day, it is basically rare in and of itself.
I’m still trying to look at historical events to get a handle on what Mars in Aries means geo-politically, but I thought you’d all like to know that I feel I’m on to something. Something that might really enlighten us all regarding politics in our world.
Now, it feels like more than a 3rd part of a Mars Series. It feels like a book. So, stay tuned. Maybe I am finally going to write a book. Good thing it is going to be about my Sun’s ruler. Makes it more fun than researching the generational planets. LOL
